Spicy bean soup for 10 people


1 can of white beans
2 cans of tomato paste
package of sieved tomatoes
5 neatly cut up tomatoes
chili pepper/spicy paprika powder
half a bunch of fresh coriander
cumin powder (djintan)
2 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
4 bouillon cubes

preparation:

1. cut up the onion and peal the garlic
2. heat up some oil in a pan and add the onion and squeezed garlic, baking it to a very light crisp
3. add tomatoe paste and keep heating for a bit
4. cool the whole down with the package of sieved tomatoes
5. flavour the whole with the chili pepper powder, cumin powder and the bouillon cubes
6. crudely cut up the coriander
7. keep the soup boiling for about 15 minutes and then add the white beans
8. cut the tomatoes into cubes of about 1 by 1 centimeter.
9. add the tomatoes and boil the whole for a bit longer
10. check flavour - add more bouillon, salt and/or pepper, if desired
11. ready to serve with the crudely cut coriander on top
